Dr. Nikolaus Haselgruber

After an engineering basic education, he studied Statistics at the Institute for Applied Statistics at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz/A and was employed there for two years as an assistant. The doctoral thesis with the title "Sampling and Design of Large-Scale Life Time Experiments" followed at Graz University of Technology/A.

For further three years, he gained expert knowledge as a statistical consultant at Aicos Technologies AG in Basel/CH, and subsequently over six years he worked as a senior reliability engineer at AVL Graz. Currently, he is CEO of CIS consulting in industrial statistics GmbH, a company which he founded in 2010.

Beside his industrial activities he puts value on continuous scientific publications and presentations on international conferences in the field of industrial statistics as well as lectures in statistics, reliability and applied mathematics at several universities. Beside this, he is European accredited statistician, court-certified expert in industrial statistics, as well as member of the Austrian Statistical Society and ENBIS, the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics.
